Yesterday my mom moved in to her new place. I managed to get over there and help her unpack a bit, followed by a quick trip to the old place to grab a few things (Bird, paintings). I took the time to look over the place before I left there for the last time. I was very surprised to find that the place held many more memories from my recent past than I realized. The backyard porch where I met many of my new friends, and got back in touch with many old ones through the magical social experience that is Hookah. The living room that had the single most comfortable couch in the world. The kitchen that was home to some of the best roast beef I've ever had. And the room that I spent two months of my life in before moving in to my current home.
That last one was especially nostalgic for me -- sending me a chill, a rush of excitement and an intense feeling of despair and regret. Hopefully in closing those doors I can finally move on.

Retarded but Ultimately Necessary First Post
So here I am again, faced with a semi-par reason to start a blog, jumping into it without a moment's hesitation without the slightest clue as to how long I'll be able to keep it up before I get once again bored of writing in it and move on. This iteration's reason: Boredom. Not really a very good reason to start a blog, but then I can't think of a single reason that would be (other than the prospect of perhaps making lots and lots of money in advertising, of which there are about as many nowadays as there are devout Mormon drunk drivers).
Ultimately, this blog will probably die out after a couple weeks just as the other ones did, but I guess we'll see how it all pans out.
